1. Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) narrates that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “The difference between a Muslim and a disbeliever is eliminated when a Muslim leaves an obligatory Salaat purposely or considers it unimportant.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْیَرِیُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ جَمِیلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ بُرَیْدِ بْنِ مُعَاوِیَهَ الْعِجْلِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَا بَیْنَ الْمُسْلِمِ وَ بَیْنَ الْکَافِرِ إِلَّا أَنْ یَتْرُکَ الصَّلَاهَ الْفَرِیضَهَ مُتَعَمِّداً أَوْ یَتَهَاوَنَ بِهَا فَلَا یُصَلِّیَهَا.
