7. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ya’qub b. Yazid from Muhammad b. Abi ’Umayr from Abi Bakr from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“A valley of Hell called Saqar, is reserved for the proud. This valley was burnt excessively by Allah and it requested Allah to let it inhale. As soon as it was allowed to do so, the entire Hell flared up.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ أَبِی بَکْرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
إِنَّ فِی جَهَنَّمَ لواد [لَوَادِیاً] لِلْمُتَکَبِّرِینَ یُقَالُ لَهُ سَقَرُ شَکَا إِلَی اللَّهِ شِدَّهَ حَرِّهِ وَ سَأَلَهُ أَنْ یَأْذَنَ لَهُ أَنْ یَتَنَفَّسَ فَأَحْرَقَ جَهَنَّمَ.
