Hadith 856

5. And from the previous chain from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah from Muhammad b. Ali al-Kufi from Ali b. al-Nu’man from Abdillah b. Talha from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“A person who has pride in his heart equal to even a small grain will not enter Paradise and a person who has faith in his heart equal to even a small grain will not enter Hell.” The narrator asked, “When a person wears good clothes and rides a mount, he feels proud.” Imam (a.s.) replied, “This is not pride. Pride means to reject the truth and faith means to accept it.”
