Hadith 853

2. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ali Majluwayh from his uncle Muhammad b. Abi al-Qasim from Muhammad b. Ali al-Kufi from Abi Jameela al-Muradi from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“Pride is a divine dress (suitable only for Allah) and those who compete in this matter will be hung in Hell by Allah.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْکُوفِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی جَمِیلَهَ الْمُرَادِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
الْکِبْرِیَاءُ رِدَاءُ اللَّهِ فَمَنْ نَازَعَهُ شَیْئاً مِنْ ذَلِکَ کَبَّهُ اللَّهُ فِی النَّارِ.
