Hadith 652

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Yahya from Ahmad b. Muhammad from al-Hassan b. Mahbub from Abi Walad from Maysar from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“On the day of Judgment, a believer will pass by a person whom he had known in the world. An angel will be appointed to take that person to Hell and he will call out to the believer, ‘Please help me for I had done good to you and fulfilled your desire in the world. Can you repay that good deed of mine today?’ The believer will ask the angels to leave that person. Upon hearing the desire of that believer, Allah will order the angels to obey the believer and leave that person alone.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبِی وَلَّادٍ عَنْ مُیَسِّرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْکُمْ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ لَیَمُرُّ بِهِ الرَّجُلُ لَهُ الْمَعْرِفَهُ بِهِ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَ قَدْ أُمِرَ بِهِ إِلَی النَّارِ وَ الْمَلَکُ یَنْطَلِقُ بِهِ قَالَ فَیَقُولُ یَا فُلَانُ أَغِثْنِی فَقَدْ کُنْتُ أَصْنَعُ إِلَیْکَ الْمَعْرُوفَ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَ أُسْعِفُکَ فِی الْحَاجَهِ تَطْلُبُهَا مِنِّی فَهَلْ مِنْ عِنْدِکَ الْیَوْمَ مُکَافَاهٌ فَیَقُولُ الْمُؤْمِنُ لِلْمَلَکِ الْمُوَکَّلِ بِهِ خَلِّ سَبِیلَهُ قَالَ فلیسمع [فَیَسْمَعُ] اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الْمُؤْمِنِ فَیَأْمُرُ الْمَلَکَ أَنْ یُجِیزَ قَوْلَ الْمُؤْمِنِ فَیُخَلِّیَ سَبِیلَهُ.
