1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ahmad b. Muhammad from Abi Humam Ismail b. Humam from Abi al-Hassan al-Ridha (a.s.) who said
“A supplication done secretly is better than seventy supplications done openly.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِی هَمَّامٍ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ع قَالَ
دَعْوَهُ الْعَبْدِ سِرّاً دَعْوَهً وَاحِدَهً تَعْدِلُ سَبْعِینَ دَعْوَهً عَلَانِیَهً.
