4. And from the previous chain from al-Hussain b. Sayf from his father from ’Amru b. Jamee’ who raised it to The Prophet (s.a.w.s.) who said
The price of Paradise is Laa ilaaha illallaah (there is no God except Allah).
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَیْفٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ جُمَیْعٍ رَفَعَهُ إِلَی النَّبِیِّ ص قَالَ
ثَمَنُ الْجَنَّهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ.
Similar narrations
- Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl #13 12. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says, “The statement: Laa ilaaha illallaah is equal to the cost of Paradise.”
- Al-Tawḥīd #14 “The statement `There is no god but Allah’ is the price of Heaven.”
- Mīzān al-Ḥikma #2928 Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘Saying ‘There is no god but Allah is the price for Paradise.
