Hadith 427

2. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says, “One who wants to know about Paradise should recite Surah Waqiya and one who wants to know about Hell should recite Surah Luqman.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمْزَهَ قَالَ
قَالَ الصَّادِقُ ع مَنِ اشْتَاقَ إِلَی الْجَنَّهِ وَ إِلَی صِفَتِهَا فَلْیَقْرَأِ الْوَاقِعَهَ وَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ یَنْظُرَ إِلَی صِفَهِ النَّارِ فَلْیَقْرَأْ سَجْدَهَ لُقْمَانَ.
