Hadith 319

23. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says, “I have been informed that when some people come for the Ziyarat of Imam Husain (a.s.) they carry sweet eatables with them but they don’t do so when they visit the graves of their loved ones!”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحَکَمِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع بَلَغَنِی أَنَّ قَوْماً إِذَا زَارُوا الْحُسَیْنَ ع حَمَلُوا مَعَهُمُ السُّفْرَهَ فِیهَا الْجِدَاءُ وَ الأخصبه [الْأَخْبِصَهُ] وَ أَشْبَاهُهُ لَوْ زَارُوا قُبُورَ أَحِبَّائِهِمْ مَا حَمَلُوا مَعَهُمْ هَذَا.
