Hadith 218
۞
1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says, “One who observes fast for a single day during summer and feels extremely thirsty, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime appoints a thousand angels to go to him, move their hands on his face and give him glad tidings. When he intends to end his fast, Allah says, ‘How good your soul and your smell are! O angels! I hold you witness that I have forgiven this person’.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الرَّازِیُّ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِیَادٍ عَنْ بَکْرِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ مُنْذِرِ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ یُونُسَ بْنِ ظَبْیَانَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع مَنْ صَامَ یَوْماً فِی الْحَرِّ فَأَصَابَهُ ظَمَأٌ وَکَّلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِهِ أَلْفَ مَلَکٍ یَمْسَحُونَ وَجْهَهُ وَ یُبَشِّرُونَهُ حَتَّی إِذَا أَفْطَرَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مَا أَطْیَبَ رِیحَکَ وَ رَوْحَکَ مَلَائِکَتِی اشْهَدُوا أَنِّی قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَهُ.
