Hadith 208

17. The narrator says that he heard Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) say, “One who performs Hajj only for Allah without any show off in his deed surely, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime would forgive him.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ وَضَّاحٍ عَنْ سَیْفٍ التَّمَّارِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ یَقُولُ مَنْ حَجَّ یُرِیدُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَا یُرِیدُ بِهِ رِیَاءً وَ لَا سُمْعَهً غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ الْبَتَّهَ.
