Hadith 155

3. The narrator heard Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) say, “One who gets a Friday, should not get involved in anything except worship because people are forgiven and mercy is showered on this day.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ مُعَلَّی بْنِ خُنَیْسٍ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ الْأَنْصَارِیِّ عَنِ الْمُعَلَّی بْنِ خُنَیْسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ وَافَقَ مِنْکُمْ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَهِ فَلَا یَشْتَغِلَنَّ بِشَیْ ءٍ غَیْرِ الْعِبَادَهِ فَإِنَّ فِیهَا تُغْفَرُ للعباده [لِلْعِبَادِ] وَ تَنْزِلُ الرَّحْمَهُ.
