Hadith 1092
2. And from the previous chain from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed] (1) from Muhammad b. Abi ’Umayr from Ali b. ’Uqba from Abi Khalid al-Qammat from Hamran who said
For this reason did We prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men. He has killed but one? Imam (a.s.) replied, “He will be kept in a place in Hell where there will be severe chastisement and if he kills everyone, too he will be kept in this place.” The narrator asked, “What is the punishment if he murders again?” He replied, “His punishment is doubled.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ] عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ عُقْبَهَ عَنْ أَبِی خَالِدٍ الْقَمَّاطِ عَنْ حُمْرَانَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- مِنْ أَجْلِ ذلِکَ کَتَبْنا عَلی بَنِی إِسْرائِیلَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْساً بِغَیْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسادٍ فِی الْأَرْضِ فَکَأَنَّما قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِیعاً وَ إِنَّمَا قَتَلَ وَاحِداً فَقَالَ یُوضَعُ فِی مَوْضِعٍ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ إِلَیْهِ یَنْتَهِی شِدَّهُ عَذَابِ أَهْلِهَا لَوْ قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِیعاً کَانَ إِنَّمَا یَدْخُلُ ذَلِکَ الْمَکَانَ قُلْتُ فَإِنْ قَتَلَ آخَرَ قَالَ یُضَاعَفُ عَلَیْهِ.
