Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said: Whoever trades without knowing the rules of religious law will be involved in usury. ٤٤٧. وَقَالَ (عليه السلام): مَنِ اتَّجَرَ بِغَيْرِ فِقْهٍ فَقَدِ ارْتَطَمَ فِي الرِّبَا. Similar narrations Ghurar al-Ḥikam #1193 Imam Ali (AS) said, One who carries out transactions without knowledge, falls into usury. Mīzān al-Ḥikma #4369 Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Whoever trades without knowledge of legal rulings gets involved in usury.
