279. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said: When optional issues stand in the way of obligatories, abandon them.
٢٧٩. وَقَالَ (عليه ‏السلام): إذَا أَضَرَّتِ النَّوَافِلُ بالْفَرَائِضِ فَارْفُضُوهَا.
