Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said: If there are two different calls then one (of them) must be towards misguidance. ١٨٣. وَقَالَ (عليه السلام): مَا اخْتَلَفَتْ دَعْوَتَانِ إِلَّا كَانَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا ضَلاَلَةً. Similar narrations Mīzān al-Ḥikma #905 Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘No sooner do two differing claims arise than one of them is erroneous. Ghurar al-Ḥikam #3117 Imam Ali (AS) said, Two calls never differ but that one of them leads to misguidance.
