Hadith 1744

146. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said: Protect your belief by charity; guard your wealth by paying Allāh’s share; and ward off the waves of calamity by praying.
١٤٦. وَقَالَ (عليه السلام): سُوسُواإِيمَانَكُمْ بِالصَّدَقَةِ، وَحَصِّنُوا أَمْوَالَكُمْ بِالزَّكَاةِ، وَادْفَعُوا أَمْواجَ الْبَلاَءِ بِالدُّعَاءِ.
