1. [1/46] al-Kafi: Muhammad b. Yahya from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Isa from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Abi Nasr from Hammad b. Uthman from Abi Abdillah عليه السلام who said
the messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وآله said: the best assistant to faith is knowledge and the best assistant to knowledge is forbearance and the best assistant to forbearance is compassion and the best assistant to compassion is patience.
