Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘There are two types of remembrance, a sincere remembrance which is harmonious with the heart, and a mere remembrance which negates the remembrance of anyone other than Allah.
الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): الذِّكرُ ذِكرانِ: ذِكرٌ خالِصٌ يُوافِقُهُ القَلبُ ، وذِكرٌ صارِفٌ يَنفِي ذِكرَ غَيرِهِ .
