Imam al-Rida (AS), with regards to Allahs verse in the Qur an “So condone with a graceful condonance”, said, ‘It is to pardon without punishing, censuring or scolding.
الإمامُ الرِّضا (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) ـ في قَولِه تَعالى: «فَاصْفَحِ الصَّفْحَ الْجَمِيلَ» ـ: عَفوٌ مِن غَيرِ عُقوبَةٍ، ولا تَعنيفٍ ، ولا عَتبٍ.
