Home / Books / Hadith 1778 hadith 1778 ۞ Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘[Possessing] fear of Allah suffices as knowledge, and being conceited towards Him suffices as ignorance. الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : كفى بخَشيَةِ اللّهِ عِلْما ، وكفى بالاغْتِرارِ باللّهِ جَهْلاً . Similar narrations Ghurar al-Ḥikam #7604 Imam Ali (AS) said, Delusion is suffices as ignorance. Ghurar al-Ḥikam #2918 Imam Ali (AS) said, Fear [of Allah] is sufficient as knowledge.
