Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘Truly Allah, Mighty and Exalted, showed His bounty to His servants in the seed, but He also plagued them with lice; otherwise the kings would have hoarded it as they hoard gold and silver.
الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّ اللّهَ عزّوجلّ تَطَوّلَ على عِبادِهِ بالحَبَّةِ فسَلّطَ علَيها القُمَّلَةَ ، ولولا ذلكَ لخَزَنَتْها المُلوكُ كما يَخْزُنونَ الذَّهَبَ والفِضَّةَ.
