Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Start with salt before you eat. If people knew what [benefits] salt has, they would prefer it to tested medicine.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : ابْدَؤوا بِالمِلْحِ فِي أوَّلِ طَعَامِكُمْ ، فَلَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي المِلْحِ لاخْتَارُوهُ عَلَى الدِّرْيَاقِ المُجَرَّبِ .
