Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, 'The farmers are the treasures of mankind for they plant and harvest the good things that Allah has made grow. On the Day of Resurrection, they will occupy the best and nearest position [to Allah] and will be called the blessed ones.
الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): الزّارِعُونَ كُنُوزُ الأنامِ، يَزرَعُونَ طَيِّباً أخرَجَهُ اللّهُ عزّوجلّ ، وهُم يومَ القِيامَةِ أحسَنُ الناسِ مَقاماً، وأقرَبُهُم مَنزِلَةً ، يُدعَوْنَ المُبارَكِينَ.
