Imam Baqir (a.s) said: “When someone who usually prays to God has a problem and prays to God for help, his voice is recognized. But when someone who does not usually pray to God has a problem and prays to God for help, it is said: “His voice is not recognized.” Whenever I face two issues, one related to this world, and the other one related to the Hereafter, I never prefer the worldly issue over that of the Hereafter. But if I ever choose the worldly issue, I run into some problems before dark. I am amazed that the
Bani Ummayad clan always prefers the worldly issues over those of the Hereafter, even though they do not like to see what they dislike.”
