Hadith 162

Hadith.5130 - Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Abu Ayyub from Al-Fudayl ibn Yasar who said
I heard Abu Abdullah (as) say: "If a slave confesses to theft, his hand is not to be cut off. However, if two witnesses testify against him, his hand is to be cut off."
5130 - رَوَى ذَلِكَ اَلْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنِ اَلْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ يَقُولُ: "إِذَا أَقَرَّ اَلْمَمْلُوكُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بِالسَّرِقَةِ لَمْ يُقْطَعْ وَ إِنْ شَهِدَ عَلَيْهِ شَاهِدَانِ قُطِعَ".
