Hadith.4428 - Yaqub ibn Yazid narrated from Al-Husayn ibn Bashshar Al-Wasiti, who said
I wrote to Abu Al-Hasan Imam Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha (as) saying:
"I have a relative who has proposed to my daughter, but he has bad character."
Imam (as) replied: "Do not marry her to him if he has bad character."
4428 - وَ رَوَى يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ اَلْوَاسِطِيِّ قَالَ
كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي اَلْحَسَنِ اَلرِّضَا عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ أَنَّ لِي قَرَابَةً قَدْ خَطَبَ إِلَيَّ اِبْنَتِي وَ فِي خُلُقِهِ سُوءٌ فَقَالَ "لاَ تُزَوِّجْهُ إِنْ كَانَ سَيِّئَ اَلْخُلُقِ".
