Hadith.1988 - Abu al-Sabbah al-Kinani narrated from Abu Abdullah (as): Regarding a woman who begins her day fasting and then menstruates during the day, whether it is midday or evening. Imam (as) said
"Yes, she must break her fast, and if it is before sunset, she should break her fast." As for a woman who becomes pure from menstruation early in the day during the Month of Ramadan but does not perform ghusl or eat anything. Imam (as) said: "Her breaking of the fast is only due to the presence of blood (menstruation)."
