I was with Abu 'Abdillah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) when a man asked him, "May I be sacrificed for you, the sun seems to descend (move downward) and then becomes still for a moment before it reaches its zenith." Imam (as) replied: "It consults whether it should continue or not”.
