Hadith 565

Hadith.564 - Abu Al-Hasan Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as) was asked about a man who says to his son or daughter, "May my father and mother (or my parents) be ransomed for you."
The Imam responded: "If his parents are alive, I consider this to be an act of disobedience (toward them). If they have passed away, then there is no problem."
564 - وَ سُئِلَ أَبُو اَلْحَسَنِ مُوسَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ: عَنِ اَلرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ لاِبْنِهِ أَوْ لاِبْنَتِهِ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَ أُمِّي أَوْ بِأَبَوَيَّ أَنْتَ أَ تَرَى بِذَلِكَ بَأْساً فَقَالَ
«إِنْ كَانَ أَبَوَاهُ حَيَّيْنِ فَأَرَى ذَلِكَ عُقُوقاً وَ إِنْ كَانَ قَدْ مَاتَا فَلاَ بَأْسَ.
