Hadith 425

Hadith.426 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) was asked about a woman who passes away among a group of men with no male relative (mahram) present. Should they wash her while She remains clothed?
Imam (as) replied: "If they do that, it will be burdensome for them. Rather, they should wash only her hands."
426 - وَ سُئِلَ اَلصَّادِقُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: عَنِ اَلْمَرْأَةِ تَمُوتُ مَعَ رِجَالٍ لَيْسَ مَعَهُمْ ذُو مَحْرَمٍ هَلْ يُغَسِّلُونَهَا وَ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا فَقَالَ «إِذاً يُدْخَلَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ لَكِنْ يَغْسِلُونَ كَفَّيْهَا.
