Hadith 1183

Hadith.1191 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) said:
"Ibn Mas'ud corrupted people's prayers with two things: by saying 'Blessed be Your Name, and Exalted is Your Majesty,' which was something the jinn said ignorantly, and Allah (swt), the Exalted, narrated it from them, and by saying 'Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah (swt)'."
1191 - وَقَالَ اَلصَّادِقُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: «أَفْسَدَ اِبْنُ مَسْعُودٍ عَلَى اَلنَّاسِ صَلاَتَهُمْ بِشَيْئَيْنِ بِقَوْلِهِ تَبَارَكَ اِسْمُكَ وتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَ هَذَا شَيْءٌ قَالَتْهُ اَلْجِنُّ بِجَهَالَةٍ فَحَكَاهُ اَللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهَا وَ بِقَوْلِهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْنَا وَ عَلَى عِبَادِ اَللَّهِ اَلصَّالِحِينَ.
