Hadith 1155

Hadith.1161 - In a narration from Zurarah about Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as), He said:
"If you are behind an Imam, do not recite anything during the first two rak'ahs; instead, listen to his recitation and remain silent. Do not recite anything in the last two rak'ahs either, for Allah (swt), the Almighty, says to the believers:
'When the Qur'an is recited, listen to it and be silent that you may receive mercy' (Surah Al-A'raf 7:204). The last two rak'ahs are a continuation of the first two."
