47. We were told by Muhammed bin Hasan bin Ahmad bin Waleed, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: We were told by Muhammed bin Hasan al-Saffar, from Ahmad bin Muhammed bin Isa, from Ali bin Hakam, from Aban bin Uthman, from Habib bin Hukaim, that he said
I asked Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, about the least (degree of) faithlessness, and he said: Arrogance is from it.
حدثنا جعفر بن محمد بن مسرور - رحمه الله - قال: حدثنا الحسين بن محمد بن عامر، عن عمه عبد الله بن عامر، عن محمد بن أبي عمير، عن سيف بن عميرة، عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال
أدنى ما يخرج به الرجل من الايمان أن يواخي الرجل على دينه فيحصي عليه عثراته وزلاته ليعنفه بها يوما [ما].
