1. My father, may Allah grant him mercy, said: We were told by Muhammed bin Abi’l-Qasim, from Muhammed bin Ali al-Kufi, with a chain of narrators that he ascribed to Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, that it was said to him
(What is the ruling of) A man who drinks in one breath? He said: There is no harm. I said: There are those before us who say that this is (like) the drinking of thirsty cattle? Then he said: The (like of the) drinking of thirsty cattle is only that which the Name of Allah has not been mentioned upon.
