Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.s) said: “After that there will be a terrible earthquake in Shaam, which will be a blessing for the believers, but a punishment for disbelievers. A hundred thousand will die because of it. When this happens, you will see the companions of Barazeen; an army mounted on red horses coming from the west, waving a yellow flag and entering Shaam. When this happens, you will see a village of Shaam, [named Harasta] cave into the earth. When this also happens, you will witness the rising of Sufyani, the son of Hind, the liver-eater from the Yabis Valley.”
