I was with Imam Hasan Askari (a.s) when he said: When the Qaim (a.s) stages an uprising he will order razing of the minarets and maqsoorahs of mosques. I (the narrator) said: I wondered what it denoted. The Imam turned to me and said: It means that all these are innovations. Neither were they sanctioned by the Prophet nor his true successors.
