3 – Saʿīd b. Khuthaym, Abū MuʿAmmār al-Hilālī. His brother was Muʿammar. Saʿīd was a Zaydī. His ḥadīth are amongst the ḥadīths of our companions. He was a tabiʿī – upon what is claimed – narrating from his maternal grandfather ʿUbayda b. ʿUmar al-Kilābī from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله . He narrated from Abū Jaʿfar عليه السلام and Abū ʿAbdillāh عليه السلام . He is very weak, and one does not ascend by him.
