Imam Ali (AS) said, Verily the soul that seeks short-lived desires will surely perish in its quest and will be wretched in its place of return [in the Hereafter].
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّ النَّفْسَ الَّتي تَطْلُبُ الرَّغائِبَ الفانِيَةَ لَتَهْلِكُ في طَلَبِها وَ تَشْقى في مُنْقَلَبِها
