Imam Ali (AS) said, Verily the soul has far-reaching desires and continues to be inclined towards disobedience in its desires.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّ النَّفْسَ أبْعَدُ شَيْء مَنْزَعاً وَ إنَّها لاتَزالُ تَنْزِعُ إلى مَعْصِيَة في هَوىً
