Imam Ali (AS) said, He will direct desires towards guidance when [people] will have turned guidance towards desires, and he will turn his opinion towards the Quran when they turn the Quran towards their opinions.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : يَعْطِفُ الهَوى عَلَى الهُدى إذا عَطَفُوا الهُدى عَلَى الهَوى وَ يَعْطِفُ الرَّأْيَ عَلَى القُرْآنِ إذا عَطَفُوا القُرآنَ عَلَى الرَّأْيِ
