Imam Ali (AS) said, Speech is in your control as long as you have not uttered it, but once you utter it you become shackled by it.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلكَلامُ في وَثاقِكَ ما لَمْ تَتَكَلَّمْ بِهِ فَإذا تَكَلَّمْتَ صِرْتَ في وَثاقِهِ
