Imam Ali (AS) said, Beware of the vileness of voraciousness and greed, for verily it is the root of all evil, the plantation of disgrace, the debaser of the soul and the exhauster of the body.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إيّاكُمْ وَ دَناءَةَ الشَّرَهِ والطَّمَعِ فَإنَّهُ رَأسُ كُلِّ شَرّ وَ مَزْرَعَةُ الذُّلِّ وَمُهِينُ النَّفْسِ وَ مُتْعِبُ الْجَسَدِ
