Imam Ali (AS) said, Persistence [in sinning] is the gravest sin and the quickest in [bringing] retribution.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلإصرارُ أعْظَمُ حَوْبَةً وَ أسْرَعُ عُقُوبَةً
