Imam Ali (AS) said, Whenever I asked the Messenger of Allah (s), he would give to me and when I held back, he would be the one to initiate [the matter] with me.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : كُنْتُ إذا سَألْتُ رَسُولَ اللّهِ صلَّى اللّه عليه و آله و سلَّم أعْطاني و إذا أمْسَكْتُ ابْتَدَأني
