Imam Ali (AS) said, Recover, O listener, from your stupor, and wake up from your heedlessness, and curb (or cut short) your haste [towards sins].
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : أفِقْ أَيُّهَا السّامِعُ مِنْ سَكْرَتِكَ وَ اسْتَيْقِظْ مِنْ غَفْلَتِكَ وَاحْتَصِرْ(اِخْتَصِرْ) مِنْ عَجَلَتِكَ
