Imam Ali (AS) said, The root of sincerity is losing hope [and desire] in that which others possess.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : أَصْلُ الإخْلاصِ اَلْيَأسُ مِمّا في أيْدِي النّاسِ
