Imam Ali (AS) said, So fear Allah in relation to the purpose for which He has created you, and be cautious of [your duty towards] Him just as He has warned you of Himself. Make yourself deserving of what He has promised you by having confidence in the truth of His promise and being afraid of the terror of Day of Resurrection.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : فَاتَّقُوا اللّهَ جِهَةَ ما خَلَقَكُمْ لَهُ وَ احْذَرُوا مِنْهُ كُنْهَ ما حَذَّرَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ وَ اسْتَحِقُّوا مِنْهُ ما أعَدَّ لَكُمْ بِالتَّنَجُّزِ لِصِدْقِ ميعادِهِ وَ الحَذَرِ مِنْ هَوْلِ مَعادِهِ
