Imam Ali (AS) said, Verily God-wariness is a strong fortress [of protection] for the one who takes refuge in it, and impiety is the dilapidated fortress [of humiliation] which does not protect its people and does not offer security to the one who takes refuge in it.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّ التَّقْوى دارُ حِصْن عَزيْز لِمَنْ لَجَأَ إلَيْهِ وَ الفُجُورُ دارُ حِصْن ذَليل لايُحْرِزُ أهْلَهُ وَ لايَمْنَعُ مَنْ لَجَأَ إلَيْهِ
