Imam Ali (AS) said, God-wariness is the strongest connection between yourself and Allah if you hold on to it, and it is a shield against the painful chastisement [of the Hereafter].
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلتَّقْوى آكَدُ سَبَب بَيْنَكَ وَ بيْنَ اللّهِ إنْ أخَذْتَ بِهِ وَ جُنَّةٌ مِنْ عَذاب أليم
